Mr. Davies is Senior Vice President at Stern Risk Partners with a specific emphasis on property insurance programs. Rob has been in the property insurance brokerage industry for nearly 15 years. Throughout his career his focus has been on challenging risks, often comprised of shared and layered programs with inherent operational or natural catastrophe exposures. His meticulous approach to placing property programs comes from understanding individual client risks, and effectively mitigating or transferring those risks using data and analytics, thereby minimizing the total cost of risk.
Rob began his career, and subsequently spent nine years, working within the Global Energy Practice at Marsh in New York with a focus on hydrocarbon and power and utility risks. Prior to joining Stern Risk Partners, Rob was a Senior Vice President within the Global Property Practice at Aon Risk Solutions. While at Aon, he spent five years working on a diverse, global book of business in multiple spaces including, real estate, chemical, power and utility, retail, rail, telecommunications and food and beverage. In both of his previous roles, Rob was heavily involved in all aspects of the insurance process gaining extensive experience in market intelligence, acquisition diligence, predictive modeling, coverage structure and consultation, program design and post inception policy and claims management.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Florida and currently holds a property and casualty producers licenses in multiple states.
